Our environment

Zubizarreko Etxea is located in the Navarrese town of AIZAROTZ, an idyllic municipality of around 180 inhabitants in the Basaburua Valley, 15 km from Lekunberri, 35 km from Pamplona, and 60 km from San Sebastián. Aizarotz is bordered by the Artius River and surrounded by dense deciduous forests of oak, chestnut, hazel, and holly trees, a magnificent route for hikers, cyclists, and nature lovers in general.

Basaburua, with just over 800 inhabitants, consists of twelve villages (Aizarotz, Arrarats, Beramendi, Beruete, Erbiti, Gartzaron, Igoa, Ihaben, Itsaso, Jauntsarats, Orokieta, and Udabe), each more beautiful than the last. A perfect place to enjoy its gastronomy, its landscapes, and its festivals. The town hall is located in Jauntsarats, the most central of the villages.

In the village of Aizarotz itself, there is an inn where you can enjoy a drink or quality cuisine at a very affordable price. The village has a pelota court, a playground, and a park with green areas and a pond.

Just 3 km away, in Jauntsarats, there is a shop and bar that is open even on public holidays.
